In 2003, the RIM Blackberry devices were deployed and Brown Brothers was the second in the Wine Industry to be "EAN.Net ready". EAN.Net is an online catalog for retail product data syncronisation. The utilisation of Cognos PowerPlay Web was further extended, most particularly into monitoring data integrity within the ERP system, an automatic workflow to resolve integrity issues and a reporting/trending facility.
